She is a puppy and we are trainig her for a race. On the ground we put again rosemary, laurel and our little champion (for us) didn’ t bother at all, discriminated the smell of the toy she loves the most. Again in the inside of the TARTUFO MAJELLA (Truffel Majella) there is a very small piece of truffle.

All races of dogs can be trained truffle hunting. It’s important to do it with a standard tool like the TARTUFO MAJELLA, the only one existing, side by side with obedience. It’ s very important to consider the Trip and Drive, the Tempre and Temperament (technical terms) of the dog, we have to consider that the communication with them is metaverbal, so our posture is decisive. With this tool we can also teach them to make a STOPon the hole where the truffle resides so they start understanding to respect it, as you can see on the video.

It’s possible to obtain this great performance thanks to the education, to the correct standard tool used, to the conductor and to the dog. These things need to work side by side. Every dog has 3 kinds of intelligence adapative, insinctiv and obedience and they have to be distribuated proportionally. We’ve already said that all canine races could go truffle hunting, but all different ones need some precautions and the performances would be different.
